This program fosters economic self-sufficiency for unemployed persons 55 and older.

Older Americans have surpassed the young and middle-aged as the fastest growing segment of the workforce.  Economic necessity is the primary motivator for people 55 and older to re-enter or join the workforce, but social interaction and the need to keep challenged also plays an important role.

The Boomer Project began in 2002 with the first group to complete the "28 Days to Employment" program being 100% employed.  Over the last seven years, the project has a history of successful placements with employers rating older workers high on judgement, commitment to quality, attendance and punctuality.

The Boomer struggles in finding employment, not due to their age, but the lack of the current skills needed to connect with the employer.  With the "28 Days to Employment" system, they will learn how to get on everyone's short list of candidates and the secrets of answering hard interview questions.  They will be able to interview like a pro and uniquely position themselves to compete successfully.

As they complete the program, they will learn how to get on the "A" list and become the candidate everyone thinks of when an opportunity arises and discover how to penetrate the hidden job market.
